Our tailored services

Working out which instructional approaches are best for your teaching team and students takes time and can be challenging. Our tailored professional development sessions make it easy for you and your team. 
We introduce your team to the variety of approaches and programs and discuss how they can be implemented effectively in your school setting. We gather information from you about your school before sessions and then explore different options on how your school can adopt approaches and programs to meet your goals.
Our professional development is designed to meet your needs. We can tailor an implementation to your school roles, your goals and current levels of knowledge. Our professional development is available both in-person at your school or online. Sessions can range in duration from 60 minutes to a full day, depending on your needs. 

Sessions can include activities like:  
  • unpacking the evidence
  • reviewing case studies of similar schools
  • investigating programs
  • studying forms of implementation 
  • question and answer sessions.

Coaching implementations

Alice has 10 years of experience teaching, coaching and implementing Direct Instruction programs throughout Australia. Most recently, Alice worked as head of curriculum at Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy, which provides schoolwide implementation of
Direct Instruction.

Lisa has worked as head of curriculum and teacher coach at Cape York Aboriginal Australian Academy. She oversaw delivery of a range of Good to Great Schools Australia explicit instruction programs in various subjects ranging from music to science and culture. Lisa has also extensively taught and coached in Direct Instruction with over six years of experience working with the programs.
