Mastery Teaching Pathway
The Mastery Teaching Pathway is a unique professional learning platform. It supports:
- schools who are seeking to enhance their whole team practice and achieve greater coordination of their school-wide teaching effort
- individual teaching professionals who want to develop and enhance their effective teaching practice.
There are discrete learning pathways for principals, instruction coaches, teachers and teaching assistants.
The courses and modules provide practical skills and knowledge of techniques and practices that professionals can immediately apply in the classroom and school.
Participants can undertake:
- individual professional development modules on a range of effective teaching subjects and program training that take about 6-8 hours to complete to certification, which is accepted by all teaching accreditation bodies
- accredited formal professional learning courses with learning pathways for each school professional role, including on-the-job assessment. It provides individuals with accreditation that enables them to advance in their career areas.
The Mastery Teaching Pathway is a powerful tool for school improvement.
Modules are built on the world’s best teaching practices using evidence-based lessons. All learning aligns with all Australian Principal and Teacher (AITSL) standards.
- Courses enable school leaders and teaching teams to align what and how their students need to be taught with what the teaching team needs to learn to teach them effectively.
- This ensures that the whole school can continuously develop and enhance its instructional repertoire to improve teaching, leading to improved results.
