Our partners

The Australian Government Department of Education and Training is responsible for national policies and programs that help Australians access quality early childhood education, school education, higher education, and vocational education and training.

They partner with Good to Great Schools Australia to deliver school reform in regional and remote schools across Australia. The current activity is the Flexible Literacy for Remote Primary Schools program operating in the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia.

The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is committed to implementing the Australian Government’s policies and programs to improve the lives of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The NIAA recognises that each community is unique. Our team includes people across Australia who work closely with communities to make sure policies, programs and services address these unique needs.

We work directly with and support the Minister for Indigenous Australians. The NIAA works to influence policy across the entire Australian Government. We liaise closely with state and territory governments, Indigenous peak bodies, stakeholders and service providers to ensure Indigenous programs and services are delivering for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as intended.

In 2021, Good to Great Schools Australia entered into an agreement with NIAA to set up and provide a playschool group for Hope Vale. The funding agreement ended on 31 December 2022.

The Macquarie Group Foundation supports community organisations globally every year through financial support, volunteering, and skills sharing, predominantly in the locations where Macquarie operates.

They partnered with Good to Great Schools Australia to support the Scaling for Sustainable Growth program. This partnership aims to allow Good to Great Schools Australia to access funding, develop teaching content, deliver content anywhere in Australia through the smart use of technology, and support schools in their daily classroom activities.

Established in 2001, Jawun (which means ‘friend’ in the Kuku Yalanji language of Cape York, Queensland) is an innovative not-for-profit organisation.

Jawun partners with Indigenous communities in a place-based capacity building to empower Indigenous-led change and foster meaningful connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.

Jawun places skilled people from Australia’s leading companies and government agencies into Indigenous organisations. These secondees share their expertise and support Indigenous leaders to achieve their own development goals.

Arts Queensland, a part of the Department of Communities, Housing, and Digital Economy, is committed to building a strong and sustainable sector that supports the renewal and transformation of Queensland through arts, culture and creativity.

Arts Queensland is leading the implementation of Creative Together 2020–2030: A 10-Year Roadmap for Arts, Culture and Creativity in Queensland across the Queensland Government in partnership with key stakeholders.

Arts Queensland has supported Good to Great Schools Australia with cash funding of $59,720 for the 2023 community presentation of Milbi Nganhthanun: Our Stories.
